Allegheny Trail (Watoga section)

Part of the backpack route the park describes as running from its northern terminus near Blackwater Falls to the Virginia border.

Part of Rail-trails

Old railroad grades converted to crushed-limestone paths. Grades are gentle by design, which makes these the most accessible long-distance walking and riding in the state, and the tunnels and bridges are the reason to go rather than incidental to it.
