The third side of the Lake Sherwood loops, in an 18-mile system.

Part of Lake Sherwood and Blue Bend

Two White Sulphur Ranger District recreation areas within a few miles of each other on the Virginia line: Lake Sherwood, with 18 miles of trail around the largest lake on the forest, and Blue Bend, with a five-mile loop above a swimming hole the Civilian Conservation Corps built on Anthony Creek in the 1930s.
