Monongahela National Forest does not publish a length for this trail. Treat any figure you find elsewhere as unverified, and plan from the map.

Part of Roaring Plains West Wilderness

6,792 acres running from 3,000 feet on the southern perimeter to over 4,700 feet at the top of Mount Porte Crayon. No total trail mileage is published. Forest Road 70 is gated and open during the autumn hunting season, so for most of the year the approach is on foot from Forest Road 19 or Bonner Mountain Road.
